How can I get a FREE copy of my credit report??

You are eligible for a free copy of your credit report from each of the three major credit-reporting agencies, once per calendar year.  You can request your report one of three ways:

• On-line - Go to www.annualcreditreport.com
• Phone - Call 1-877-322-8228
• Mail - Fill out the request form and mail it to Annual Credit Report Request Service, P.O. Box 105281, Atlanta, GA 30348-5281

If you have already used your free credit reports, you can still request another report, however there will be a charge for it.  (Average fee is $9) You can request a copy of your credit report via mail or phone.  If you use the automated attendant, you will need to have a debit card or credit card to pay the processing fee.  If you prefer requesting your report via the mail, you will need to include the following information along with your request.

• Full Name (including any surnames i.e. Jr. Sr. II or III)
• Current Mailing address, including zip code
• Proof of current mailing address  (Example: current utility bill)
• Previous Mailing address (if within the last two years)
• Social Security number
• Full Date of birth
• Signature
